What is a Probe?

A "Probe" is a predefined risk assessment category featured in the SplxAI Platform. We currently support over 15 Probes across AI security categories Prompt Injection and Social Engineering, as well as AI safety categories Off-Topic and Hallucinations. All of our Probes are actively maintained and contain the latest threat intel, fostering the ability to simulate skilled adversarial activity on your GenAI applications.

Yes, Custom Probes are available with the Professional and Enterprise plans. Custom Probes let you define and assess your GenAI apps for any type of interaction, ranging from specific adversarial simulations to configuration assessments of active AI guardrails and content filters.

Executing and running each Probe costs you a certain number of credits, depending of the number of simulated attack variations and strategies. For Professional and Enterprise plan users the credits renew every month and there is also an option to purchase more if needed.
